Empowering Chant for Healing with Herbs
Say this simple chant while stirring herbs within your cauldron or when applying any healing herbs in the form of a salve, oil or other method. You can change the Deity as you so choose.
Round and Round, the herbs are bound
Goddess Aine now hear my song
Work it well and chant the spell
This be for healing, be thou strong!
Faery Forest Spell Jar
On a full moon go deep into the forest or the wildwoods. You will need various candies, sugar, Rose Oil and Rose Petals.
Go to a spot where the moon shines the brightest. With your wish or intention in mind add to your jar the mixed candy and say,
“Sweets, sweets, that’s what you are,”
Then add your sugar and say, “Sugar, sugar, that’s what you are,”
Then add your oil and rose petals and say, “With the moon light above, I call upon the Faery Queen and King, bring forth your blessings and grant me this wish, I am here to harm none, only to greet and love.”
Dig a hole big enough to fit your jar in. Sit close by the jar, do a little meditation, and leave the jar in the Earth for one week. Wait for your desire to manifest into form over the coming days or weeks.
Creating a Hag / Faery Stone Amulet
Search the beach, lakes or forest until you come across a natural stone with a hole through it. This is called a Hag Stone or Faery Stone and it is sacred to the Goddess and the Faeries. Take it home and wash it in pure spring water with mineral salt. Hold it in your power hand and state the following:
Faery Folk I have found
A sacred holy-stone upon the ground
Grant the Sight for me to see
The Hidden Realms where you might be
Keep it on your altar wrapped in a soft cloth. When you take a bath, place the Hag stone in the water along with a little salt. Feel the warm healing water surrounding you, imbued with the power of the water spirits. When you drain the bath, imagine your illness or negative energies draining away.
A Faery Prayer to invoke the blessings of the Sidhe into your life:
In the stillness of the passage Cairn
I call upon my wise ancestors and guides
To the illuminated Sidhe of the Faery Mounds
Through the Darkness and into the Light
I am led by your wisdom
You whom hold the olde ways of Nature
I ask your blessings be poured upon me
O’ Shining Ones, Good Folk of the Hollowed Hills
Bring forth your wisdom upon me and grant me access to your realm
And so it is…
Faery Blessings of Abundance of the Home
This is wonderful to perform when moving into a new home or dwelling or to perform every few months to keep your home and family happy and abundant. Take a relaxing bath using equal parts Sea Salt and Epsom Salt and a few drops of Rose and Lavender Essential Oil. You may perform this ritual outdoors within your garden or beneath a tree or upon your altar. Find an offering such as fresh berries, flowers or sweet fresh milk and honey to place within a sea shell as a gift to Faery. Light a white or purple candle and state the following:
Fair Folk of the Elements, Enchant me with Your Wisdom
May Your Blessings of Light Fall upon me this day
Bring Your Loving Harmony and Abundance of Grace
To all who Dwell within my home
I offer you this gift of my Spirit and Thank You
For this Blessing
So Shall It Be.
Keep the offering upon the altar for a day or two or offer to the Earth and bury it. Thank All Present and dismiss them with love and gratitude.
Call of the Faery Folk Invocation
This is a sweet little invocation to use when you would like to call upon the Fair Ones while performing Rituals or Spellwork. You may include the following items for this invocation:
- One Purple Candle
- Faery Oil or your favorite Magickal Oil
- Fresh Flowers or your Favorite Herbal Blend
- Your Cauldron or a special Ritual Bowl
Place fresh spring water in your cauldron and place the purple pillar candle in the center. Place the fresh cut flowers or sprinkle your herbal mix in the water of your cauldron to float on top and around the candle. Anoint your third eye and your throat Chakra with your favorite oil.
Recite the following:
Faery Folk Come out to play
I call upon you this fine day
Help me weave this spell of light
Grant me your power and then take flight
Spear of Lugh Protection Spell
Lugh is of the Tuatha de Danann and the Irish God of light and the Sun. This is a wonderful protection spell to call upon him when you or your home needs protection. If you would like to use candles, appropriate colors would be earth brown or golden yellow. Incense would be Frankincense or Myrrh. Recite the following:
Great Lugh, Bright One of the skillful hand
I call upon you and your great Spear of Destiny.
Hold thy protective spear and shield over me this day
Wrap your ancient cloak around this child of the Earth
I offer my gratitude and love for your safeguard
So Mote It Be
Prosperity & Abundance Charm
You will need one coin of your choosing. State the following:
Lovely Lady of the Moon,
Bring to me your wealth right soon.
Fill my hands with silver and gold.
All you can give, my hands to hold.
When finished, bury the coin near the main entrance to your house or
place of business and pour the water on it as if watering a plant.
Faery Garden Spell
This sweet spell was created to bring you closer to The Faery Realm, Mother Earth and Nature. Plant some wildflower seeds in a hidden or tucked away part of your garden that gets sunlight. You may wish to bury a gemstone there as well as an offering for the Flowers to grow. Make a nice cup of Fairy Tea and feed the birds with wild birdseed. Than tie some ribbons on your favorite tree to welcome the faeries to your garden.State the following:
See this garden made for you
Faery Folk, my heart is true
Welcome here to live all time
For this is now yours and also mine
Bless the plants and bless the soil
Bless all who in this garden toil
Bless the wild things that come and go
Your presence will make this garden grow
Welcome One ,Welcome All!
Calling the Dragons
Prepare Yourself for ritual and Cast Your Circle if desired. Light a Red Candle and meditate upon the flame, sprinkle an herbal offering around the candle to help call upon them for their aide. Visualize dragons flying to be by your side and state the following:
Come Great Dragons, Heed My Call
Lend me Your Mighty Strength
Lend Me Your Ancient Wisdom
I am Friend of the Olde Ways, Friend of the Elements
I Summon Thee Great Sages of Old
Come Dragons, Here Me Now!
Perform any magick you prefer where extra power is needed or protection is what is sought. This is also wonderful to perform to establish a stronger relationship with these mystical beings.
Spirit of the Wildwoods
This is a wonderful short spell to just commune with the Trees of your backyard or a special one that you have come across. Ask it’s blessing for whatever may be bothering you or ask it for some healing energy, Trees are wonderful Healers!
Take a purification bath and Prepare for Ritual. Perform this spell outdoors in the evening if possible and ideally during under a tree or in a grove, Light a candle & Incense and state the following:
I Call Upon the Spirits of the Wildwood
I Welcome your Healing Energies
Elementals of Growth, Strength & Resilience
I call your Powers through this Woodland Space
And Invoke Your Healing Magick Within this Sacred Space
So Mote It Be!
You may choose to write down a problem or something you need help with on a piece of paper and bury it with a crystal offering under the tree.
